As an officiant, speaker and ceremony designer, I’m excited to offer you complete and personalized support for your child’s welcome ceremony in Englisch, German, French or Spanish.

Our initial meeting for us to get acquainted is free of charge and carries no obligation.

To begin, here’s some information about the concept of the baby naming ceremony:

First and foremost, let me provide you with some insights into the concept of the baby naming ceremony (also referred to as secular baptism, secular naming, or welcoming ceremony):

What is a welcoming ceremony, and why consider a speaker for it?

A baby naming celebration is a celebration observed in various cultures and nations to commemorate a child’s birth and extend a warm welcome to the new addition within the family and community.

The underlying idea of a child welcome celebration is to underscore the significance of this new life and foster closer bonds among family and community members.

The naming of this celebration may vary in accordance with cultural traditions and individual preferences.

In contemporary times, numerous parents choose a baby naming ceremony, free from religious or cultural associations, to realize their unique vision for this celebration. That’s where my role comes into play.

How and where does the celebration occur?

Family and friends gather in a heartwarming environment to celebrate the birth and welcome this little baby. The celebration can take the form of a joyous event in a private garden, at home, in a restaurant, or in a banquet hall.

What takes place during the ceremony?

In the approximately 30-minute ceremonies that I conduct, we illuminate the parents’ journey, from pregnancy to birth, and the child’s initial weeks. We also incorporate significant aspects of your choosing. Furthermore, we can delve into the name’s significance and other personalized preferences.

Can godparents participate?

Given that this is a secular ceremony, there are no restrictions on its content, and godparents can certainly be named for the child.

What is covered by my service?
